Certification & Accreditation
From forest to factory, we follow a quality assurance process during every stage of our procurement, design, manufacture and installation process.
It is important our customers, suppliers and partners are confident in the materials we use and products we make – that they are sustainable and always fit for purpose.
Trust is earned when actions meet words, so we also hold several other certifications, accreditations and memberships to help demonstrate our commitment to being an ethical, sustainable and responsible business.
CE Mark
The UK government has laid legislation to continue recognition of current EU requirements, including the CE marking (Conformité Européene, or European Conformity marking).
The legislation will apply indefinitely for a range of product regulations. This means businesses will have the flexibility to use either the UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) or CE marking to sell products in Great Britain (GB).
Draft legislation can be found in The Product Safety and Metrology etc. (Amendment) Regulations 2024.

Structural Certification
UKCA
We are the only UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) certified glulam manufacturer which means every piece of glule laminated timber we manufacture is sampled and tested to ensure its quality is consistent and its structural integrity is guaranteed to a level specified for each project.
The Timber Research Development Association (TRADA) assess our manufacturing and testing procedures via twice-yearly audits to verify that we are conforming to our Declaration of Performance (DoP).
Our DoP provides information on the performance of our products and records the standards to which they are manufactured (BS EN 14080).
Responsible Timber Sourcing
FSC
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) verifies that forest-based materials produced according to our rigorous standards are credibly used along the product’s path from the forest to becoming finished goods. The FSC label on a finished product signals that the materials used during production have met the chain of custody requirements at every step in the supply chain, from sourcing to distribution.
FSC® certified products available upon request.
GiB
Grown in Britain certification demonstrates your product has come from a sustainable chain of custody, and can be traced back to its UK source. The Grown in Britain logo guarantees timber has been harvested in accordance with the UK Forestry Standard. This certification proves that the chain of custody of the wood being used comes from well managed British woodland.
GiB certified products available upon request.
PEFC
Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes (PEFC) is the world’s largest forest certification scheme. The certification uses globally accepted ISO guidelines to ensure independence, transparency and impartiality of the certification process. The PEFC logo and label on a product communicates to customers that the wood or fibre comes from sustainable sources and originate from a responsibly-managed forest.
